Starting out in accounting and culinary worlds, Peter settled on librarianship. Acquiring his Western MLIS, he gained experience at Kings College and 2 co-ops: Ottawa’s Office of Learning Technologies & Moncton’s Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. His first employment was at NYPL followed by a stint at New Rochelle PL. Relocating to Ottawa, he worked at the Office of the Auditor General and Algonquin College. A York librarian, his responsibilities cover Domestic Government Documents and Disaster & Emergency Management. Research interests include the first Canadian periodical which promoted women’s suffrage, divorce reform and sex education
