Library orientations can begin building the foundation for academic success. This session will share insights from the successful Library Love orientation, a creative attempt to engage students with the library in their first term at Saint Mary’s University. Participants will come away with new strategies for orientations and an opportunity to share ideas.

OUVERTURE DANS L’ORIENTATION DE LA BIBLIOTHÈQUE: LAISSER LES ÉLÈVES PRENDRE L’INITIATIVE

Les orientations des bibliothèques peuvent commencer à jeter les bases de la réussite scolaire. Au cours de cette séance, les participants partageront leurs points de vue sur l’orientation réussie de Library Love, une tentative créative d’engager les étudiants dans la bibliothèque au cours de leur premier trimestre à l’Université Saint Mary’s. Les participants repartiront avec de nouvelles stratégies d’orientation et une occasion de partager des idées.
