E3 - The process is the outcome: A framework for student "research as praxis"

This presentation reframes information literacy education as reflective praxis. Based on a pedagogy of reflexivity, reciprocity, critical ontology, and a concept of voice as an embodied social process, our framework provides space for students to begin to understand how information, knowledge, meaning, and inquiry are historically and culturally constructed.

Cette présentation recadre l’éducation de la maîtrise de l’information en tant que pratique réflexive. Basé sur une pédagogie de la réflexivité, de la réciprocité, de l’ontologie critique et d’un concept de la voix en tant que processus social incarné, notre cadre offre un espace pour que les élèves commencent à comprendre comment l’information, la connaissance, la signification et le questionnement sont historiquement et culturellement construits.
