How do students’ perceptions of their information literacy skills change from the college transition through the first year experience? Come to this session to learn about a mixed-methods study at two universities of freshmen perceptions of their information literacy abilities throughout their freshmen year. Learn about the intersections between cognitive dissonance, information literacy, and the first year experience, as well as gain practical tips for implementation in your classroom.
